It's for PTBNL per Roto

Can we just skip this part and send them Edwin instead?

i love threads where we get to laugh at the best-record-in-the-NL-having dodgers. i mean, what a bunch of dum dums!

They may be winning, but they aren't doing it the right way.

their very real, current, present 90 wins seasons/division titles/playoff appearances are going to be NOTHING compared to the hypothetical, dependent on current minor leaguers, future 90 wins seasons/division titles/playoff appearances of our cubs.

I kinda want a Brewers/Angels World Series.

There is not a single person laughing at the Dodgers in this thread. I mean, at least wait for something remotely resembling that sort of thing before going straight to this tired bit.

I guess if you go so far as to separate the GM from the team, this could be true.

There are people making fun of coletti buy I guess that's not allowed since the Dodgers are good

sorry, people mocking their GM isn't technically laughing at the actual LLC or whatever the exact corporate entity that is the los angeles dodgers.

A's/Braves, please. A's/Giants would be pretty cool. Save STL making it, I'm hard-pressed to come up with a feasible WS matchup I wouldn't like.

They're comparing him to looking like the dead guy in weekend at bernie's. That's not exactly mocking this move as being stupid for them.

One person made an off hand remark about Colletti overpaying before saying a 'low-A lottery ticket sounds about right' after the return(a PTBNL) came out. Another person made the factual statement that Colletti looks like Bernie from Weekend at Bernies. If that isn't saying "lol Dodgers, sure glad we aren't doing things like THEM!", then I don't know what is.

Plus I don't think one person has even said this is a bad deal for them. They got a really good defensive backup and it (probably) cost them very, very little. The Cubs save a few bucks (obligatory PTR joke) and maybe got a lottery-ticket-type prospect. But he was gone anyway at the end of the year so anything of value is better than nothing.

It was a win for both clubs.

So nothing remotely resembling that sort of thing, right?

not for nothing but the original post also noted how there are several threads on this board where people have ridiculed the Dodgers for their stupidity while just winning and winning.

But the important thing is making sure nobody criticizes the Cubs for losing all the time.

Ned Coletti is pretty dumb.

The hohohohehehe look at that dumb overpay stuff is exhausting, but it didn't really happen here.

I have no idea how it's tired to point out how stupid everyone looks when they snicker at the Brewers for trying this season or talk about what an insane overpay it is to actually sign a good player.
