I don't like the shamrock helmets. Aside from the fact that the only era ND wore shamrock helmets was an era they were awful in, the gold helmets should stay all gold.

As an English teacher, I have to weigh in on this...

 

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel has already resigned for trying to hide the fact that many of his players sold stuff for free tattoos

 

Seriously, stuff? A journalist, and the best word you can come up with is stuff. We bury that word the first day of 8th grade for my students.

 

What's worse, this isn't the only time he uses that vague, worthless word.

I love that it takes 2 sentences for him to lose verb tense. "BCS stripped USC of the 04 title." But then the second sentence is, "If USC gets stripped..." um...that's already happened. You pointed it out in the sentence immediately before this one. Also, it's no longer a hypo.
