this is the game that Maurice Clarett scored two touchdowns and made that spectacular play where he chased down Sean Taylor, who had gotten and interception

 

but come on bro

The booster/cheater/leach involved in this scandal has been involved with the university for a while.

So the $25,000 video that Oregon paid for containing 2011 recruits didn't actually contain any 2011 recruit but most ones from 2009. Including one that was killed in a car accident in 2010.

Only 4 major conference schools have never been found guilty of a major rules violation in any sport (applies to all, but football seems to be the most rule-violating sport so posting here):

He's already left his Ashville team and is in Madison.

 

Given, that's only two months to mesh and practice, but given his experience/maturity and the experience of the team, I don't have too many concerns. Plus having one of the top OC's in the country to gameplan for his style of play and easy non-conference schedule, hopefully Wilson will be fully ramped up come the Nebraska game.

 

That and he won't have to pass 40 times/game like he did at NC State.

 

Badgers are full on favorites for their division, and are almost neck and neck with Neb for the conference.

So what do ND fans think will happen with Michael Floyd? Does he get suspended for any games or is he on the field the first game of the season? Michigan is sort of in the same situation with Darryl Stonum, but this was Stonum's second DUI, so I hope he doesn't see the field at all this season.

what i've heard is kelly has pretty rigorous [expletive] for floyd to complete and if he does it, he'll reinstate for all the games. while he's had 3 alcohol incidents, the first 2 were minor in possession, so i think it's a bit different from stonum. i think stonum is probably fucked.

I don't know that, I just find it incredibly unlikely that A) Floyd would fail to impress Kelly with his various rehab efforts, and B) that Kelly would really excise Floyd entirely from his senior year. I expect to see Floyd out there against USF.

Cecil Newton talks about NCAA Scandal

 

Asked whether he solicited money from Auburn, Newton said: “According to what the NCAA findings are, that’s what we’re going with.”

 

But Cecil Newton is confident NFL Players Association director DeMaurice Smith and his attorneys will “protect the interest of not only the first player picked, but Mr. Irrelevant as well.”

 

“I just want Cam to get out here, get on board with his team, do the right things on and off the field and the rest will take care of itself,” Cecil Newton added. “He’s played for so long for free that anything we make, man, is a blessing.”

So Nebraska is officially a BIG member today, the Pac 10 is now the Pac 12, and the Big 12 is still the Big 12...with 10 members.

 

Interesting going to the various websites to see how they have updated with the new members official.
