Well of the ones besides Wrigley that I've been to

1. U.S. Cellular Field

For me, that ranks behind the Penn High School baseball stadium.

You don't mean JUST behind Penn HS stadium, do you?

I think the gap is bigger than that...

Coors has the same soundsystem problem but I love the park. there is nothing to like about minute maid, terrible playing field, terrible fans, terrible food, uncomfortable seats.

Walking over the Roberto Clemente Bridge and the view looking into PNC is pretty amazing. Pittsburgh did a hell of a job with that ballpark. Definitely a must see for anyone that hasn't been.

My top three would be...Wrigley, PNC and Camden Yards.

What's your take on Citizen's Bank Park? I was there 2 years ago and it was ok, nothing special.

What is Pac Bell called now?

SBC?

That is by far the best park I ahve been to.

sure, if you're going shopping.

I'm gonna have to defend bmkhawk. SBC is a really nice park. The view into the McCovey Cove is unbelievable.

Yankee Stadium is also a nice stadium. Plus the aura of Yankee Stadium is unbelievable because of all the great players that have played there.

Nothing against BMK - just that the advertising completely ruins the stadium for me. its disgusting. otherwise the park is great as long as you aren't freezing to death in the upper deck.

I gotta get to Camden. It looks like a great place. Haven't heard anyone who doesn't like it.

I haven't been to many. Wrigley's obviously the best. PNC is great. Other than that, I've been to Coors (which is vastly underrated), Busch when I was a kid, Commissery Park and the Cell, old Cinegy, and the BOB, for a tour during spring training a few years ago. Bank One is interesting. It's more like a sports complex. I think it would be better for a football game or a concert than baseball. It's really a great place, but not a baseball stadium.

I have been to Wrigley, Miller, Busch, the Cell, and Kauffman. I have loved all of them because I was there and seeing baseball live and in person.

PNC is #1 on my list of have to see ballparks, but I won't get there this season. I am heading to Comerica though, and I am sure I will love that one too.

lets see:

Wrigley

Camden

Busch

GreatAmerican

Citizen Bank

RFK

I rank Busch above GABP and CitBank because of the teams playing (Cubs vs Cards) just made it an incredible experience, and that GABP and CitBank are basically the same ballpark.

RFK, while interesting, wasn't great.

I lived in Conneticut for 6 yrs so I went to Fenway, Yankee St. and Shea St. numerous times.

Fenway is great. Great fans and hecklers. The subway ride is hilarious after wins.

Yankee St. is very over-rated IMO. People dont really watch the game. The only good time I've had there is in the right field bleachers when they go thru the opening line-up in the 1st inning.

Shea St. I actually like but then again I always drank too much when I was there.

I still like Wrigley above all.

This summer I plan on seeing the Cubs play in Cleveland at the Jake and in Cincy but after reading other posters it sounds like Pitt might be a better place than Cincy to got to. The PNC does look good on TV and obviously tickets are pretty easy to come by. Are there restaurants/bars right next to the park ?

PNC has a nice row of restaurants and bars right outside the stadium. I would rather go to PNC before GABP, it's probably closer to Clev. as well.

Yes, Pittsburgh is closer to Cleveland than Cincy.

Over twice as close.

Yep, Mapquest says 4 to Cincy and 2 and a quarter to Pitt. Plus it's an easier drive with the turnpike.

I've been to the following parks, and ordered them from best to worst:

1. Wrigley

2. Yankee Stadium

3. Kaufmann

4. Comerica

5. Bank One Ballpark

6. Metrodome

I'll be going up to Boston this year to see Fenway, and possibly going to St. Louis to see their new hole. My buddy (who is a Yankee fan) and I have a goal to see as many parks as possible.

I can get to Cleveland in an hour and a half.

Oh, no doubt. Mapquest is notoriously conservative with their estimates. They assume the speed limit.

Is Kaufman where the Royals play? Hate to sound stupid, I did go to a couple of games there back in the late 80s. It was really nice, alot better than Busch at the time. Busch Stadium did improve over the last 10 years but I would still say it was the worst place I have gone.

I also liked old Tiger Stadium. Sitting in the upper deck in lf was just cool.

6. Fulton County Stadium

7. Turner Field

8. Pro Player Stadium

I liked Cinergy better than the Reds' new park; it was a substandard setup for baseball, but the soul of the '70s Reds permeated throughout the place before they ripped up the carpet in 2001.

Turner Field was a huge disappointment.
