Fenway is historic and all that, but it's uncomfortable as hell and covered in bat/bird poop

The ones i've been to that I like alot, other than Wrigley

- Camden

- Miller Park

- Minute Maid

- Coors Field

Fenway and Yankee stadium are way overrated...I enjoy the history of them, but they just aren't great venues to watch a game, in my opinion.

I've been to the following parks, so these are the ones I can rate: Wrigley, Fenway, Turner Field, Bank One Ballpark (now Chase Park), Ameriquest Field in Arlington, Camden Yards, Minute Maid Park, Busch (now demolished), US Cellular, Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium (no more), Veterans Stadium (no more), Arlington Stadium (no more), and Astrodome (no more).

I'd give a tie to Wrigley and Fenway at the top of the list. Both were awesome.

Secondly, I think Ameriquest Field would come in third on my list. It's a beautiful yard and while it has nice amenities, they don't seem to be overdone. There's a lot of variety through the seating areas. It also has the best food of any park that I've been to. The only drawback that I have is that during the summer, the heat at game times can be unbearable. Number four on my list would be Camden Yards. I thought they did a good job there. The fifth park on my list would be Bank One. I really liked thay one as well, even with the cheesy pool behind the outfield wall.

I can only speak for those I've been to, but my rankings would be:

1) Wrigley - of course

2) Turner Field - maybe I'm biased...The only game I've seen there was Game 1 of the 2003 NLDS

3) SBC - Comfortable seats, beautiful park, great sightlines, nice food/beer options.

4) Kaufman - An oldie but a goodie

I can only fairly judge the stadiums I've been to.

4. Milwaukee County Stadium

5. Olympic Stadium

And among parks I've only driven past the exterior of...

1. Jacobs Field

Why is everyone rating Wrigley #1? It's a dump!!!!

I mean, it just needs some improvement. Miller Park all the way baby!!!!!

For the record, Miller Park is so bland and boring. It just doesn't have much discernable character. It's Anypark, USA basically. What makes it more annoying is their sound system (at least from where I was sitting) was extremely loud, and their song choices were pretty stupid too. Pretty much whenever there was any stop in action (catcher walking to the mound for example), they played some weird trance music that got old really quick.

Top 5 I've been to, excluding Wrigley:

1. Safeco

2. Dodger Stadium

3. SBC

4. Chase Field (pool tickets baby!)

5. Angel Stadium (can't beat the energy level for a baseball game)

these lists don't have enough PNC Park

I haven't ever been to PNC, so I couldn't include it.

go sometime - it really is incredible. A great place to see a game. I went 2 years ago when Rob Mackoviac (sp?) hit those two homers to kill us. I saw all 4 games - walk up tickets then were like $25 for about 8 rows up even with first base. Great seats and a great place to see a game - and a great Cubs following there - over half the crowd.

If you love Wrigley, you would have loved Tiger Stadium too. It was a bit of a dump and in a terrible neighborhood, but had every once of baseball feel that Wrigley does inside, and the food was much better than Wrigley.

The sound system in the upper deck makes it unbearable up there. You couldn't even talk to the person sitting next to you. It really gave the whole ballpark a minor league feel.

I think I went there on two separate "women's days." They basically told the women in the stands that they could get free massages or something like that in the right field concourse and didn't have to watch the game. They did that with kids, too. So many ballparks try desperately to get people in the seats through promotions, but those promotions just kill the experience for the actual fans. It's like they're afraid that if there's not something loud and flashy going on, the fans are going to just get up and leave. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't need to be constantly entertained when there's a break in the action. And by entertained I mean thoroughly annoyed.

Well of the ones besides Wrigley that I've been to

1. U.S. Cellular Field

For me, that ranks behind the Penn High School baseball stadium.
