Zach Duke?

2-0, 0.56 ERA in 2005. Yep, Zach Duke.

Just add any rookie pitcher who starts against the Cubs to that list. I've noticed a long trend over the last few years of rookie pitchers, good and bad, schooling the Cubs.

Why Finley? Was he the bane of the '84 playoffs?

uhh, take a look at what he did in 04

Thanks for all the help guys. Torres and Dibble have already been added, and other whose cards I'm looking for.

Eric F. Milton- I watched Mr. Homerun machine no hit the Cubs for 8 1/3 innings in Phily in 04.

Most frustrating game I've ever been to. They get shut-down by Milton, so I get somewhat excited of watching a no-hitter especially w/the Cubs involved which hasn't happened in 33 years and hasn't happened against the Cubs since Koufax.

Then, Glanville botches an easy fly-ball so the no hitter is gone, Cubs get back into the game and Hawkins blows it in the 9th.

LaTroy F. Hawkins. Man, I wanted so badly for him to succeed, but all he did was give me chest pains. (I do wish him well now that he's back in the AL)

Mario Soto (my first Cubs game as a little kid was a game where Soto incited like 2 bench clearing brawls)

Carlos Lee

Moises Alou when he was an Astro

Randy Johnson. I think the Cubs are hitting -.233 against him.

Neifi (killed the Cubs before and after coming to the team)

Oswalt (HOW did everyone forget him?)

Tavarez

And just for kicks, add Jack and Joe Buck to the list, too.

1998 redeems him a bit, don't you think?

...Perez occupied a special spot in Cubs' history long before he joined the team. In 1998, the Cubs were locked in a Wild Card race with San Francisco. After the Cubs lost their final regular season game at Houston, the Giants were poised to close out the Colorado Rockies to clinch the Wild Card spot. However, Perez launched a game-winning 2-run homer off Giants' closer Robb Nen to force a tie between the Cubs and Giants. The home run came less than 2 minutes after the Cubs made the final out in Houston. The next day at Wrigley Field, Cubs went on the defeat the Giants, managed by future Cub manager Dusty Baker, and advanced to the playoffs.

Oh, and my #2 would be Carlos Lee. Not only for his continued success against the Cubs, but also for the leg whip he put on Walker last season. I'm all for playing hard, but there's a difference between playing hard and sliding with your legs up around the knees. I hate him too.

But he didn't slide with his leg up. Walker's leg was at an angle and lee's rode it up to the knee.
