He'll go through a normal offseason, and be a guy in ST. Just need to hope theres no set back between now and then and all things should fall in place.

How affective he'll be will be the unknown until he's out there competing

Cool! So I get two choices-

Don’t watch the Cubs and go to bed at 9pm like nearly every other working adult in the world 

or

Watch the games but only get 3-4 hrs of sleep before work.

Honestly, why shouldn’t the Padres start their night game at 7 pacific? Why does the comfort of Cubs fans viewing have to be more important than the viewing of the team that won home field? It sucks for Cubs fans. I get that. But who is supposed to play late?

I'm not going to be able to watch. It's probably for the best that we don't. If nobody watches those late games, there's a chance that they won't do that again. (Of course they will)

I live in Arizona and if the Cubs win game one I will be driving out to see game 2, and (hopefully not) game 3. However, even here I don’t like the west coast game. I normally like to go to sleep 9:30-10:00. No matter when I go to bed I wake up at 5. Can’t help it. What is nice about Pacific time is most times after a game I have a couple of hours to unwind. Maybe watch something else or read. I can’t watch a game and just go to sleep. Too much adrenaline. So those west coast games ended up keeping me up until probably 11:30-12:00. I do feel sorry for central time zone and eastern time zone people. I remember central time in the ‘16 playoffs. I went to work very sleep deprived the month of October.
