  1. In terms of Rojas' future position, the amount of time he has spent not playing shortstop this season is telling to me. Yeah yeah positional versatility and all that, but if they truly thought he was a SS, learning other positions seems like it'd be more of a AAA thing for him when he's knocking on the door. And it's not like 3B is more "open" on the big league team.
  2. Palencia is the guy if it gets to that. And even if they're hanging around a WC spot at the deadline, which I still think they will be, trading him (you can still soft 'buy' elsewhere) seems like a shrewd move to me.
  3. (This is where some of the positive regression will come from)
  4. I know he SUCKS and everyone is ready for him to leave or whatever but Seiya is grading out quite well in RF this season.
  5. And he's still stealing a ton. Wonder if it's left arm related.
  6. The line between good and really bad is just too thin. He's not going to do very well in free agency.
  7. I'm a little surprised by this as a replacement for Lopez. I thought maybe Happ was hurt or something. In a DH world, it's easy to never use the last bench guy. This feels like a reaction to the losing streak while still not really having a spot for him.
  8. How has Marquee still not figured out how to keep the challenges up all game
  9. Props to Brett for getting paid, but it's a little unfortunate now opening that site and reading batting order takes based on batting avg w RISP thru 45 games
  10. I can't believe the offense was able to overcome a full series AND a half of struggles
  11. Even if we do get swept, if this series ends with Albies not getting a hit, I'll never be more convinced this is our year.
  12. I still think he'd get eaten alive with consistent MLB ABs against RHP. With the contact issues and no more options after this year, I also doubt his trade value is all that high anyway so I'm penciling him in as a useful 4th outfielder next season.
  13. Yeah I think the look back was the key, not necessarily taking too long. Well Martin being terrible made this win way more fun
  14. I mean not having Palencia or Brown available is why he tried to push it with Rea an extra inning, no?
  15. lol Conforto is fully back and there's no spot for him to play
  16. I'll admit to thinking Hayes would turn back into something resembling a decent hitter playing in Cincinnati. YIKES
  17. Heck of a time for what seems like Webb's only 2 quality innings of the season.
  18. 104 off the bat at 25 degrees to left center somehow for an out
  19. Wait, this guy throws 98? I'm intrigued. Topped out at 98.9??
