Start well, got a little iffy and then he shut the door. Overall, it's another fairly encouraging Webb performance.

If the Padres lose the next 2 nights and the Cubs lose tonight and tomorrow, do the Cubs clinch the playoffs?

they’d be tied with the Padres and 2 GA of the Diamondbacks with 3 to play. 

The Diamondbacks would need to sweep the Padres to have a shot (with a Cubs 0-3 trip to Boston) but if they swept the Padres, SD would remain tied with the Cubs and thus lose the tiebreaker and be out
