They said hamstring. But that will still be something that keeps him out a bit. And Bagent didn’t look good.

Yea hamstring,  depending on grade itll be 3-12 weeks. 

Bagent good, but not good enough to help them overcome a shaky defense.

Going to need the blackhawks to be good enough to get us through the winter now 😒

Did they say it was a strain? Or is it just an injury. Could still be a tear no?

Like everyone else - still waiting to hear about Bregman…….swollen and cut under his LEFT eye is brutal as a right handed hitter. Sure hope he’s okay and not too badly hurt.

Poor Caleb too - man what a brutal day for injuries.

From Counsell on Bregman:  Left cheekbone area below the eye.  Sent to the hospital for tests.  No concussion symptoms.

Way to narrow down a time frame for the injury. 3 to 11 weeks really helps explain how long he will be out.

This, if true is probably as good as we can hope. If it isn’t a nose or an eye injury he might not be out long.

PCA gets to 39 steals going into the final day and everything of importance in the standings has been decided. 

Do you start him on the bench, wait for a batter to get on first, then put him in as a pinch runner? 

He probably doesn't want to get to 40 that way, but that would be the easiest way to do it.

They have 6 games left, if he can't get the last 2 steals then it's on him.

Like I said,  depends on the grade..

Am I to guess the grade ?

If its a grade 1-2, its mild and usually 2-6 weeks,  if its a grade 3 then were looking at 8-12 weeks.

Theyll know more probably tomorrow how severe after MRI...

Hopefully its low grade and at most misses a month
