i always get a little upset when the Cubs really pour it on in one game because I know they're using up all their runs for the series (I know this isn't how it works)

Eh, fun to beat up on rookies I guess but I’ll be more excited if we can get through a whole game without giving up a HR or if the bullpen was able to hold a 1 run lead.

Because I'm weird I just looked it up, the Cubs have had 10 series this year where they won 1 of the games by 5+ runs and lost all of the other games in the series.

I know its ultimately inconsequential but it annoys the horsefeathers out of me that Shota, and the Cubs in general, couldn't go through 1 game without giving up a HR.
