rea for two innings to close this out would have been an easy choice

Probably saving Rea for long relief tomorrow piggybacking with Holmes?

I'm sure they are just waiting for Cabrera to get activated before sending Thielbar on his way... it was a good run but it's time for him to retire

That doesn’t mean he has to pitch every game lmao

True, but I don't blame them for trying to use him when they have a 4 run lead to save the rest of the pen... at least, I'm trying to rationalize it lol.  Guy is horrible though

Hopefully this ends the same way the Dodgers game did two days ago when they scored 5 runs in the 8th and we still won.

Yeah we tried to use him in a 6 run game 2 days ago and he gave up 4 runs. There is no situation where he’s safe.  I’m aware he pitched a scoreless 10th yesterday but blind squirrel and nut

Why not see what Braxton has here instead of abusing Theilbar and Thornton.

Thornton somehow gets out of it 😂
I give him this , at least he throw ground balls

Thornton looks like he is redlining it every outing, overthrowing everything and somehow getting the job done... but he is eventually going to be voted the weakest link.

What is happening with the lights?

I've been noticing teams doing that during visiting team's mound visits.

Sometimes I wonder if most of the bullpen arms on this roster were signed under similar circumstances as this
