No rest for this team until next Monday. Concerned how they’re gonna handle the one-off Toronto game on Thursday. Maybe this series can be a good predictor.

As for moves today (which there probably won’t be): MORE PITCHING

Based on what evidence?  All the smoke says says they're getting a controlled starter and they have more than enough ammo to do so.

They have so many superfluous pieces that many teams should covet. I expect at minimum 2 more deals, probably 3 or 4.

I think Jed is going to balk at the prices for a controlled starter. And since he's already had a very solid move for that cements this trade deadline as better than the last one, I could see him declining to pull the trigger on any big moves.

If we end up with another starter, I'm guessing it's a rental swingman type that moves into the bullpen if enough players get healthy.

Again, based on what evidence?  All the smoke says they're getting another starter and it'll be one with some years of control.

No evidence. Pure speculation. Hope I'm wrong.
