Pitchers miss location all the time, I'm sure his intention wasn't fastball down the middle

Me too. But I don’t doubt the plan was to be in the zone, or just off it low and outside. Just not a complete meatball.

As bad as Alex Cohen is, he's Jon Miller compared to Zach Zaidman

For me Coomer is the tiebreaker so it's audio overlay.

Pat left the booth midgame on the and hasn't been back, I hope he's alright

Really don’t want to bat in the 9th.

You’re not kidding - Webb to close I’d assume?

That was unnecessarily close but nice to get another series win at least.

Someone gotta bitch about something

Shaw has closed up his stance a bunch.  Not as extreme as before the tweaks last year but still closer to his old form.

I’m surprised the pitching lab hasn’t told Assad to stop throwing his sinker like with Taillon and Cabrera. They only like low 90’s 4 seamers that are clobbered.

Is Alex Cohen and Cliff Floyd our good luck charm?

Well, we lost the game before that they did together so maybe not.  I will say Cliff does make a more concerted effort than JD to conversate with Alex.  But even with Cliff it just seems to me Alex seems like the new kid at school trying too hard to get everyone to like him.   I find myself cringing several times a game when he's on the broadcast.

100% this. Boog and JD have an easy chemistry. Len and JD had it as well. Cohen, Sutcliffe and Girardi all ignore the other person in the booth.

Cohen/Sutcliffe is the worst case scenario

Len and JD clearly liked each other and are about as good a combo as you could ever wish for.  JD tolerates Boog.  I often feel like I can hear him rolling his eyes.
