I have full confidence that Assad wouldn’t have done what Maton just did.

Brewers and Cardinals both losing

Its mid May

RELAX

Also this is why Craig wanted to keep Rea going as long as possible.  Not to get him a win. Lol that might have been post of the year

this is a really bad loss.

failed to tack on vs fedde (and then a bunch of times after that).

counsell stupidly let rea face vargas.

maton does maton things.

gave this one away.

I thought Counsell was supposed to be the best manager in baseball? Even I knew not to use Maton in any game that is within 10 runs, let alone a tie game in the 8th inning.

I still have PTSD over that stretch that Alzolay had a couple years ago. So thank you Jed Hoyer for giving us a ML pitcher who is worse than that.

Idk.  Maybe he's just a **** manager.  He leaves Milwaukee and they instantly become a juggernaut 🤷‍♂️

Had to go to the RHP to face the mighty Meidroth and a string of lefties

those lefties included a guy with a .430 ops and a guy who hadn’t homered in his career. counsell sucked today but even horsefeathers ass phil maton should be able to navigate those lefties without giving up the maximum number of runs possible.
