Thuney hasnt played there all season and  while Benedet had issues he was at least serviceable. I hope this is just disinfo to throw LA off because it seems completely irresponsible to me

Unless there's some real concern that we don't know about with Benedet.  FWIW, he played LT due to injuries for the Chiefs for 3 games in the playoffs in 2024.

Yeah. He was notable pretty shaky at LT in the Super Bowl last year but I don’t really know how he fared leading up to that.

The neoprene I wear out here surfing is 4-5 m thick and makes moving harder. It doesn’t weigh a ton, but it’s not unmeasurable either. Even a 1 m suit will slow you down. I know stafford isnt the most mobile dude in the world, but I’d have to think this will play a part

Thuney played LT for the Chiefs on their run to the Super Bowl. So I don't think it's insane to put Thuney at LT. in fact between Thuney, Theo and Braxton, Thuney might be the Bears best option at LT.

My concern is LG. Can Luke Newman or Jordan McFadden handle that spot?

Don't get me wrong, I still prefer Thuney at LG and Theo at LT, but I don't think it's insane to consider Thuney at LT.

Part of the reason the Chiefs got housed in that Super Bowl is that Thuney at LT got overrun by the Eagles line.

Making this switch in the midst of a playoff run when every player LG to RT has taken every single snap this season ... is kind of insane yes.

Welp, tomorrow will be the last game on the lakefront this year. Seahawks look scary good but just get to that game and we’ll see what happens.

Be great if the Bears could play from ahead in this game.  Rams are better than the Packers at everything, can't count on McVay making the tactical errors such as LaFleur.  Regardless of the outcome, things are trending upwards for the Bears, they will be more playoff games in the future.
