I think it's a combo of the pass protection struggles that Benedet shows (especially against a talented front four) combined with how much they like him as the extra big in the jumbo formation. If the plan is to wear them down with the run in the cold maybe we'll see a heavy dose of that formation..

Whatever the plan is, it's certainly a ballsy roll of the dice with how little McFadden has played
