Just for shits and giggles I was re-watching/listening to Packers' radio call of the game on 12/23.  I 'd really like to see Walker take Zaccheaus' spot next season.

And the ones that aren't are probably holdover Cardinals fans from the St. Louis days.

There are very, very few of those.  Stan Kroenke and the whole organization are pretty widely hated down here.  I have a feeling a lot of STL football fans will be rooting hard for the Bears this weekend regardless of their allegiances.

Does everyone remember the two plays - one to Loveland and one to Kmet, where they caught the ball, turned around, took a couple steps, and then had the balls knocked out from them? Those alone account for ~4% bump in completion percentage and also drives dying.

Caleb's still not a finished product, and I'm more than happy where he is. I'm more than confident he'll be in the mid-60%s for completion rate by next year. I don't know if he'll ever be a 70% guy, thats not really this kind of offense. That's fine.

Surprised we haven't claimed Darrell Taylor

I saw he was available. Sweat, Booker and Dexter have all been better lately. Maybe Allen is working with them, starting to find success and doesn’t want to mix it up. Adding playoffs to a playoff roster can sometimes change chemistry

I mean it’s rare a player becomes available to pick up in the playoffs and the depth should always remain a priority. Take the flier.

Thats because he’s not that good

All of St. Louis immediately pivoted to the Chiefs bandwagon when the Rams left.

Yep. My Missouri friends all latched onto the Chiefs. My central Illinois friend decided to be a Lions fan. None are Rams fans. I had dozens of friends in San Diego. Only a couple kept their loyalty to the Chargers when they moved up the street.

That was a clickbait article to be sure.  And it worked too.

Completely moronic analysis, that babble about missing Loveland on the 4th down pass to Odunze.  Discounts the rusher who was bearing down on Caleb, forcing him to the left. Had Jackson not been beaten so quickly, I suspect Caleb would have been on Loveland.

So how does Dan Orlovsky feel about this game?

Lavishing praise on Caleb while ignoring all the hate he dumped on him, naturally

Pats signed him to the practice squad.

I wish he'd stick with all the hate, it's been good luck.

Seems to be a lot of that going around these days.

With Benedet likely playing place of Trapillo, I'm hoping we have some more running success than we've had in recent weeks.

Same. It definitely regressed after he took over.

IDK how you can argue that he doesn't  miss too many short and intermediate throws. Just be objective. Its totally ok to admit flaws are there. The arm talent is close to non-pareil, the processing has come a long way, he definitely throws a lot of balls away to avoid sacks. He should still be hitting a lot more passes than he has. You think Johnson is looking at 58 and saying, meh, not that bad? Theyre gonna nail down the details and next year he's going to expect him to be somewhere in the mid-60s.

believe it or not based on the source, there's a good discussion here on the completion percentage issue.

ben and caleb are shooting 3s, not 2s.

(but yes, things should be better and cleaner next year after a year of experience in the system and another camp)

Yea I mean the whole shooting 3 things is valid analogy, but he is also missing some layups still.

I absolutely believe Johnson still exects him to be a 70% type passer and still hit that big play percentage. But it's also totally doable. And of guys with similar depth of target the good ones still range from like 63% (Lamar) to 71% (Maye). Johnson gave a 70% target at some point and I'm not inclined to think he was lying or changed his mind.

He should pretty easily become at least Lamar, but also, go be Drake Maye, eh?
