  1. If we'd have grabbed any of the DTs that went at the beginning of this round instead of Zavion Thomas at 89 and I'd have zero issues with this draft. But alas...
  2. Why spend a 2nd round pick on a 3rd string WR?
  3. Roush is a beast... 13 personnel all day
  4. According to over the cap the bears freed up 10+million in cap space by restructuring Jonah Jackson and Cole Kmet... On draft night? Trades incoming tomorrow?
  5. It's definitely having an impact, but I think it could also be potentially beneficial in the right situation. I could see a strategy for teams who think they're in a competitive window intentionally drafting an older and more developed (physically and experientially) college player who can make an immediate impact while on the rookie scale, allowing for more resources spent elsewhere on the roster. Seeing who takes Mesidor and/or Stukes this year, for example, will be interesting.
  6. You've also got some pretty great trade capital if you wind up with 3 good to great OTs in a year or two. I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough to know, but would Trapilo or any of the late 1st possibilities be a good candidate to kick inside to G in a few years as Thuney ages and Jackson's contact expires? I'd still prefer an impact defensive player if one is there at 25, but im pretty much always good with an OT in the first as a default
  7. And they're going to have to pay him as much as they would've paid Hendricks despite giving up that draft capital... I know he's younger and interior DL game changers are harder to find, but pretty terrible resource allocation
  8. They talked about it during the broadcast... Apparently he had tendonitis in that arm when he was younger and letting it dangle helped mitigate the discomfort and afterwards he stuck with it
  9. AKME has been fired, it's about time! Billy Donovan not going to North Carolina... Are they letting him pick the new GM/VP?
  10. 6 years for 141 million per Passan 23.5 AAV
  11. I like him too, but no way DA wants a t-rex at edge
  12. Nah, he's ARSB. He can absolutely catch a deep ball and be a threat, but he needs to be catching passes in space and applying pressure all over the field
