On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, for just a last gasp of entertainment, giving the fans an extra hour before the game to 'warm up' coming off a win today would maybe be our last chance at seeing that fully amped Wrigley crowd. Think the team is going to have to do it themselves today.

I'm hoping that a big moment early can help give the crowd some juice.

Like a first inning HR?  Too soon?

Shaw went from an extreme opposite field hitter to an extreme pull hitter with the change they made. No middle ground. He can’t reach the outside pitch to hit to the opposite field. No middle ground

Castro , 3rd baseman for a change. Can’t hurt

I wish we could see Mo in the game. Too bad he's limited to DH and Tucker can't run right now.

I’m generally optimistic, but yeah, this series looks like it’s gonna end tonight

I'm optimistic about jamo... but not on the offense.

It's an adjustment. However this isn't entirely true; he hit really well on the outer third over the last about 10 games in the regular season showing a really strong approach adjustment as pitchers had moved to the outer third in the plate over the month of September. It hasn't been a good playoffs for him in that regard, but I do think part of this is "young hitter + really good pitchers + very amped up"

Let win a ballgame, I really don't want them to get swept.

Hopefully Taillon continues to pitch well and these hitters can figure out a way to get 4-5 runs on the board.

This forum is dead - everyone give up?

I did, but I hate myself so I'm putting myself through it.

This sunlight situation is so absurd. How much baseball has been played 2 hours before sunset at Wrigley this year, but sure, let's do it now
