Here's an idea for us all. You fan your way and let the other guy fan his way. Who cares? If you want to be a whiny cry baby, cry hard. If you want to look on the bright side, keep chasing the rainbows. The game thread would be much better without the complaints about the complaints and the complaints.

Just let everyone be who they are. There is a block button that I use regularly and it makes my life less frustrating.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Thank you for your comment - I’m guilty as charged indulging in the “crossfire” on disagreements with some of the bloggers on here and it’s to no point.

Bottom line is this - you gather a bunch of frustrated fans in one forum and the negativity tends to build because your team is playing like straight cheeks right now.
You are correct though - let people enjoy their own commentary and venting and avoid engaging in arguments. Thank you for the reality check 💪

if tonight's game is postponed, will they just do a dh tomorrow?

Probably, or Wednesday.  Cubs have to play in Anaheim on Friday so guessing Thursday wouldn't be an option

I know Council isn't up there hitting, but when a team looks this lifeless, that has to partly be on the manager. This dude is the highest paid manager in the league by a wide margin I absolutely do not see what he does to deserve that.

Totally agree with this post!

If you’re a Milwaukee fan, how much are you loving the fact of them shedding that dead weight and keeping a real leader in Pat Murphy. I agree with you in the fact that a manager has a certain mentality and presence no matter the sport and can still demand excellence and not settle for subpar performances from your team for the better part of a month.

He is a shell of a manager and says things like, “It’s all fine” when clearly it’s a cluster!

Watching the Brewers do better without him changes the whole equation IMO.  I have to admit I wasn’t expecting to see that.

Color me shocked that they are finally doing something about this.

Good organizations don’t wait this long to do something about it and they certainly don’t want until the 5 game Brewers series to do it

And right after Hoyer said Caissie won’t be in for vets

Jed gambled that he had a viable 3B and enough starters to get the job done. Since the deadline Shaw is a top hitter in the league and the rotation has the best ERA. What could he have done to prevent 5 guys going from 850 OPS to 500?

his job is to build a winning team and he has failed at that job for multiple years.

making the argument that hoyer sucks doesn’t require anyone to list moves that they would have done better than hoyer. it’s not hoyer’s job to be better than a message board poster at gm’ing, it’s his job to be better than other gms at gm’ing, which he objectively has failed to do.

Seriously? Really?? Our golden child needs multiple games off because he’s “struggling mightily?”” PCA struggled pretty friggin mightily too; however, he’s working through his rough patch, along with other players.
This isn’t a form of coddling? My goodness. I’m obviously the minority here most likely, but whatever

First off, you're in love with this "coddling" word.  It's not coddling, it's management.  The guy isn't helping the team right now, and we need to win games.  Seiya got benched for a few games...last year?  Year before??  I forget now...but he came back and started hitting.  It's not coddling to let someone get their head right.  Baseball is as mental as it is physical.  What works for one player doesn't necessarily work for everyone.

It’s the opposite of coddling because they are forcing Kyle to take some days off when he doesn’t want to

This message board is full of managers, hitting coaches, pitching experts, and roster architects. We even have a guy from Philly! He should absolutely use this place as his measuring stick.
