Losing is one thing but, Hoyer continuing to do jack horsefeathers nothing is what's really pissing me off.  Oh, no, he's waiting to last possible second when, theoretically the asking prices will go down.  Yeah, that's it.

Is anyone really convinced that Hoyer, with extension in hand, is going to make a true attempt at improving this team?  I'm not.

Can’t lose the Misiorowski game up 3-0 early when he was on the ropes and was about to be pulled. Needed a big start from Boyd and didn’t get it. The Cubs need a nice clean win tomorrow.

You work your entire career to be GM/President, have a really good team that is expected to win, get an extension, have money to spend and prospects to trade, have a few significant holes to fill, and you think he’ll just mostly sit on his hands? No.

A sweep was worst case scenario in this series, and this game was supposed to be the one that prevented the sweep

I feel like the Mis game was the hardest on paper

More of a hot take on my part but, boy, I'm tired of waiting.

You have to pretty much wait until the last day for the big moves or else you have to give up too much

Yeah I mean, if this was a uniquely us problem we'd see something beyond the Rays shuffling their catchers around. I share the frustration, the pitching needs help. But I try to remember all the teams in much more precarious situations...we're 95.4% to make the playoffs right now. If teams like the Rangers (51%), Red Sox (52%), Padres (51%) aren't doing anything yet....it's obvious everyone is in a standoff right now.

The whole horsefeathers league is waiting dude. You act like he can just strong arm a trade. The sellers are waiting til the last minute as well.

I don't know how Miz ever gives up hits. Every fastball 100-101 from a starting pitcher is insane.

The Cubs did a lot of things right at first. They worked counts and put pressure on the Brewers. But when Misiorowski left, the Cubs only got one run off an average pen. The good news is that the Brewers were forced to use 7 relievers tonight.

Be kind of dumb for TR to give him an extension now and then tell him not to do anything worthwhile to improve the team.

Might as well just not extend him, then just let this roster play out and hire a new front office to do whatever in the offseason.

Terrible game for Boyd to sh*t the bed.

That Misi guy is a beast.  Brewers just keep finding and developing good arms.  Cubs need to do better on that.

I’d like to go back to RLRLRL at the top of the order now that bullpens are exploiting the lefty heavy 1-4 late in games. Nico-Tucker-Seiya-PCA-Kelly/Busch-Busch/Kelly/Swanson. I want Busch at the plate with runners on, I’m old fashioned.
