The Pirates play hard, they swept the Phillies recently.  I'd be satisfied with 3/4

Yep, 3 of 4 would be awesome

Love to see the bats rolling again,  and some good pitching these games

3/4 be would great, of the Pirates, Marlins and Rockies, the Pirates, after the Rockies, might have the worst line up.  They've better pitching than the Marlins or Rockies which helps to keep them games but, their line up? A total WAR of 3.9, PCA' WAR is 3.9.  And even though statistically the Marlins line up may be worse than the Pirates, the Marlins, no matter how ****** they are, always give the Cubs fits.

hate that i have to say this but anything but a straight pounding of these fools is unacceptable

Heaney isn’t bad. Wind blowing in. I doubt they pound him but i do expect a win. I think a lot of people expect way more than what is reality. They don’t have to dominate, just won. But Heaney isn’t bad.

Can we do the thing where we get baserunners and score runs?

We’ve been scoring less runs per game in each  successive month.  Maybe this is the real offense.

You be as talented as Pete Crow-Armstrong.

I'm not sure "Pete hits 40 home runs" is even the 99% outcome.

With this said, may "we don't have a star level player" in our MiLB system never be uttered again. Because I've heard it too many times.

Brewer super prospect Jacob Misiorowski is through 5 no hit innings in his major league debut against the Cardinals.
