What is the point of NY, if they can never get the calls right? We all see the same things they do and its blatantly obvious.

I don't know how they didn't overturn that. It wasn't particularly close that his hand didn't get in. SO frustrating.

I don't hate the send, but the horsefeathers Tigers have made EVERY dang close play. So annoying.

Agree. The send was the right play. I think he was actually safe, but too close to overturn. Just a great throw home. Tigers are making plays this series.

Happ' hand was definitely in before the tag, I don't think they determine if it was touching the plate.  Tigers are solid defensively but they're pulling a lot of horsefeathers out their collective asses this series.

Correct send. Things are just coming up Detroit very often right now. Sometimes luck is on your side. Detroit has that advantage right now, it seems.

Still plenty winnable.

Yeah agreed. Tigers are a good defensive team. They get credit from me for making the play but that looked pretty clear that he was touching the plate before the tag.

At least Cade has seemed to settle in a little bit.

This might be his best start yet. 10 whiffs already, I like the fastball placement overall. I know he gave up a few runs at the top, but hes looked really good so far, IMO.

Personally, I think his changeup has looked really sharp. That pitch is developing really nicely.

I believe he was safe. But that is because it looks like the catcher missed him originally. But in real time it did look like they got him. And on review it was too close to overturn. Has they called him safe originally the call wouldn’t have changed either.
