Brown has to be sent down. He can’t start again. His next start would be against the Reds. That absolutely cannot happen. I guess Flexen is next guy to try in the rotation.🤷

He can't get through the 5th even in clean starts. This was monumentally stupid of Counsell to pitch him in this inning. What the horsefeathers man.

Even very, very mediocre lineups, such as the Reds, can do well against poor pitching.

Such a shame this offense is being wasted by injuries. Time for south Bend Brown to develop anything that isn’t a 95 mph 4 seamer or an 88 mph knuckle curve..

In the 23 innings played this series the Reds have led at the end of 20 of them, the Cubs have led at the end of 3 of them and they have ended the inning tied 0 times. 
 

thank goodness for the scoring surge at the end of the game Friday of this would have been a complete disaster of a weekend.
