Honestly I don't care if it's Eberflus' fault or not, he's cursed and we need to get him out of the building forever and bring in a Wamapoke expert to de-curse us.

Yeah, you cannot lose this many high % win games in such a short time and not be the reason for it.

Had I bet on this game I would have lost plus the soul crushing defeat.

UMFan, gotta add this one to the list buddy.

The call was fine. You can lose yardage. Just make a 90% FG.

Fire everyone but Thomas Brown.

Nah you play conservative and set yourself up for horsefeathers like this. Stupid to be scared of negative plays imo, 46 yards is not a chip shot for Santos.

“We’re going to take the North and never give it back.” Never giving up last place.

It's amazing that they're 2 90+% outcome failures from being 6-4 despite their struggles.

It’s too long to track. I’d be willing to bet my house that the Bears have had more soul crushing losses over the past 15 years than any other team. This isn’t a “only my teams” situation, I’m certain the Bears have had this happen more often

caleb is good and the bears lose, perfect result

It felt too much like 2018 for me to get excited when they were kicking the field goal.

What was the most important thing? Turning Caleb around. They did that. Too bad they couldn’t give him a W on top, but they succeeded at that. And Eberflus just has bad vibes and needs to go. Let his stinky vibes go.

Well, at least, Caleb didn't horsefeathers his paints today like every other Bears QB vs. the Packers for last 30 years.  Really, a loss is much better in the long run, had the Bears won, it might have been enough of an excuse to retain Eberflus.

My wife thinks I’m crazy because I said like 5 times in a row “The Bears always miss this kick” as they were setting up. We all knew it was coming but it doesn’t make it suck any less.

Season ends right now the Bears pick 11th, by seasons end I think it's more like in the 6-8 range. That puts one of Will Campbell or Kelvin banks on the table. Move Jones inside and that's a vastly upgraded Oline.

why was our long snapper allowed to be bull rushed but gervon dexter called for leverage or whatever the horsefeathers that was against Arizona

I think it more on Santos kicking the ball low than anything GB did, which, of course falls on Eberflus.  Everyone knows 46 yards isn't a chip shot for Santos yet, no attempt was made to get closer, that's on dumb ass.

Yeah I agree but the long snapper was immediately rushed with his head still down by two different guys and got knocked on his ass

doesn’t seem fair

They win this game ugly when everyone doubts them. Pull off one more win with multiple TDs then look respectable in some of their losses the rest of the way and Eberflus returns.

He gets credit for “keeping the locker room together” and “fighting through adversity”

Poles gets to wait another year to pull the trigger, hires a new guy and they lose more games in 2026 than 2025. Poles gets replaced and that guy gets an opportunity to hire “his guy”

So close.

The ****** thing is he’ll still get credit for “pulling the team together” because they did everything they needed to win the except make the makable FG

1-16 in our last 17 against our arch rivals.  Can’t remember if I already said that here or if it was in another place I’m venting at.

You couldn’t have just given us this one sports gods? After all the horsefeathers we deal with as Bears fans? After all the terrible Chicago sports teams the last 7-8 years? Just one win over our hated rivals to feel good about ourselves?

Anyways the Bears are now essentially 3.5 games out of the final NFC Wild Card spot due to losing the tiebreaker to Washington

That’ll be short lived if they got 0-6 in the division.

it’s looking like week 17 is going to be a make or break pointless victory week for Eberflus

No reason to be looking at standings with this team

Season end right now they pick 14. They’re last in line among the 4-6 teams due to having the most difficult SOS.

Yeah, I don’t watch all the Bears games. I don’t pay attention to all of the players. The little I have seen of Santos is that he doesn’t have the leg strength so his long kicks have a much lower trajectory than a lot of other kickers. The one he hit early in the game was a line drive. I wasn’t shocked by the block based on how his earlier attempt went.

Realistically, they need to finish top 10 to get one of the 2 big OTs, if not they should grab either a DE or Malaki Starks and then grab an OL with the panther's 2nd.
