I think the stars for Edmonton come up big, they win in six, and I barf as Stan gets credit for "putting them over the top".

He’s honestly fortunate that losing Broberg and Holloway didn’t impact them at all.

Today was expansion draft protection day for the PWHL. Each team can protect just three players, leaving everyone else available in the expansion draft.

Only three goalies were protected.  Reigning back to back Minnesota protected Kendall Coyne (33), Montreal protected Marie Philip Poulin (34), but Boston did not protect Hilary Knight (35), who led the league in scoring and is the top American star.
Toronto also didn’t protect Sarah Nurse and New York didn’t protect Alex Carpenter.
the draft is gonna be interesting

Wayne Gretzky is looking old or has a terrible plastic surgeon.

It seemed like everytime i turned the ame on last night it was during intermission.  I did see the OT goal though

Yeah, the plastic surgery and/or Botox have rendered his face unable to move in a natural way.  It's very odd looking.

It’s starting to feel like this is Dallas’ year. I have a lot of respect for DeBoer and would be happy to see him win it all.

Well this aged like milk.

I get that the flights are very long between Edmonton and Florida, but these breaks between games are LONG. If this thing goes 7, it's going to take 17 days to play the series

You can simply stagger your days with the NBA. the long breaks for travel is what is stretching this thing out

Oilers tie it with 17 seconds to send it to OT (again)

Watching at a bar in Vancouver. That was a fun reaction when they tied it.

Slightly different angle, this thing could have gone in directly, goalie could have accidentally knocked it in or the Oilers player could have knocked it in accidentally. And yet it stays out.

And even then, they play Mon and Thu in Florida, but then Sat back in Edmonton. Os they have the extra day off when they’re staying in Florida.

When the panthers have pissed their opponents off so much that they start getting easy power plays off dumb instigation penalties, it’s over. They have beaten you.

the entire bottom half of their roster look like all stars in the playoffs. They have the devil magic. Not to mention they’ve played more hockey than any team over the last three years, and Tkachuk seems like the only player showing any wear & tear.

Sounds like Rangers are close to sending Chris Kreider to Anaheim, which should get the ball rolling on an interesting offseason. Dallas, Colorado, Carolina, Toronto and LA are contenders likely looking to shake things up. NJ, NYR, STL, VAN and Utah are bubblish teams probably looking to take the next step.
