Upon checking, the taxi incident was 2009. There were also some instances of public intoxication around that time. The SA allegations took place in 2015 with no charges. In the time since, however, he has appeared to be responsible.

Reichel missed a team meeting this morning and because of that he was scratched for tonight's game. That probably does it for Reichel in Chicago.

I don't care about the taxi thing. he allegedly choked a girl, was accused of something way worse years later, and I think he's complicit in the Aldrich stuff. I just don't think he's a great dude and I don't see the point in bringing him back

He isn’t coming back anyway. Like jersey pointed out, it would mean Davidson doing an about face and he seems intent on putting his stamp on the Hawks, which is also a good thing in my opinion.

I'm enjoying all of the Capitals fans who traveled to Columbus today (presumably thinking they'd see Ovechkin break the record today), and instead a) Ovechkin is taking the day off and b) Columbus is winning 6-0
