I remember hearing a two goal lead is the most dangerous lead in hockey.  Still, up two goals, third period, you got to feel real good about coming away with a victory.  Scoring so quickly into the third put the Oilers on their heels.

It’s starting to feel like this is Dallas’ year. I have a lot of respect for DeBoer and would be happy to see him win it all.

Fun fact, USA hockey has never won the world championships (they won the Olympics in 1960 when it doubled as the world championship)

Fortunately, the CBC channel is available to me via our cable provider, watching it on TV.  Don't believe CBC will broadcast the Stanley Cup Final at least they've got the conference finals.  horsefeathers Florida just scored, I so don't want the Panthers to repeat nor do I want Seth Jones to hoist the Cup.

Panthers with an empty netter, looks like we're getting a re-match in the Finals.

Panthers are the 4th team since 1980 to make 3 straight Stanley Cup Finals, along with the Islanders, Oilers and Lightning. A little surprised that neither Pittsburgh nor Detroit did it.

So in the end we get a rematch of last year's SCF. The Oilers will be making their 9th appearance and the Panthers will be making their 4th appearance (third consecutive).

Would be nice to see a Canadian based team win the Cup for the first time since 93. But horsefeathers Stan Bowman.

Kind of surprised to see Edmonton is the slight favorite to win. Florida is a better team than they were last year.
