Cubs win the Crosstown Cup for the 3rd consecutive year. They’ve now won it 7 times vs 8 for the White Sox.

Maybe the Cubs would have been swept by any other team in baseball but I don’t care a win is a horsefeathers win and we’ve been desperate for them so Go Cubs!

Was watching on the MLB network - they said earlier that Tauchman has the best BA in all baseball in the 7th inning or later.

Do we not play them at Comiskey this year?

I'm annoyed that the pitching is horsefeathers and now were scoring runs but Ill take the W's

Yeah, struggling to prevent runs vs the worst offense in baseball by a mile is not great.

Another pen day of 4 innings and 1 run. Pretty sure that is 4 good one days in a row. Maybe 16 innings and 2 runs. Of course as soon as they give up a few people will be bitching about them again. But for now, not bad.

Yes, 2 on the South Side, but the rule for the Crosstown Cup is that in the event of a tie, whoever won the Crosstown Cup the year prior retains it.  The Cubs have won 2 of the 4 games, thus retain the Crosstown Cup

We need a few nice easy wins. Goddamn, we’ve earned it.

We haven’t comfortably won a game in 19 games since May 15th in Atlanta when we won 7-1.

Gonna be brutal seeing Bote starting at 3rd tomorrow if Morel is going to miss any time.

Will it be him or Wisdom? Also if he does on the IL does Mastrobuoni come back? Why not Murray? Has to be better than Mastrobuoni.
