Wow Tauchman has a noodle arm.

Yeah he’s not very good defensively, he should be DHing once Suzuki is 100 percent

It’s crazy how often the bullpen blows leads in the first inning they come in the game. I suppose it’s better than blowing it in the 9th like they were doing earlier.

Lovelady and then brewer in a tie game in the seventh feels a little weird, no?

Must not want to use Wesneski.

7 man pen if we think Wesneski is still starting, Brown and Thompson both probably down, so it's those two plus Alzolay to bridge to Leiter/Neris.

Well there is a 100% chance the Cubs score exactly one fewer run the rest of the way than they give up in this inning

I forgot Mark Leiter is both available and good, in my defense that usually lasts about an inning and a half before someone goes on the injured list

Don't believe there's a way  to score -1 runs but, it is the Cubs.

Also not a surprise Dick Lovelady is terrible, his numbers were awful at AAA

Didn't he get lit up just last night?

Warning Track Power Penalty.  If you hit enough to the track in a game without them going out, you lose 1 run per 4 WTP flies.

Did Pat die in between innings?

I don't think that he got his usual fifth inning bathroom break. He was probably prairie dogging by the end of the seventh.

Watching this bullpen this year, there is a 10% chance he jumps out of the booth at any given time.
