That goal they took away was a thing of beauty. That goalie is still having bad dreams about those moves.

Hawks and Bedard are really trying to bring the famous Angels tweet into the hockey world. Maybe Celebrini can be the Ohtani to Bedard's Trout next year.

I'm not that much of a hockey fan. I loved going to games in college though.  But I really hope they can surround Bedard with some talent before long. He looks like a special player.

I feel like this is a bit premature, since Bedard is a rookie and everybody knew going into this season it was a bottom 5 NHL roster, and since then they've lost their only other 2 players of value. With Taylor Hall they would probably only be one of the 5 worst teams in the NHL instead of the worst.

they are loaded with prospects and picks. they're far away as a team, but things will start getting really fun in a couple years (unless davidson sucks)

Even having AA throughout the year would have made a bit of difference.

I literally do not care about wins/losses this year. I've treated this season like an extended training camp.

Putting two things here because they are hockey related

 

1) my whaleshit tier beer league team played against former NHLer Brad May last night.  I skipped the game but he must have been going *real* easy because my team won anyway.

 

2) pwhl announced their draft rules and other pro sports leagues should 100% steal it:  first overall pick goes to the team that gets the most wins after their mathematical elimination.   Still favors worst teams (because they get eliminated earlier) but discourages tanking.
