imagine if he played with real players

Hey now...Kurashev & Donato are actual, quality, NHL third-line players.

pretty funny 4 goal comeback against the sharks, which likely locks the hawks into the 2 slot for the lottery

That's ok, Gary will rig the lottery again for the Blackhawks😆

Can’t help but share this ridiculous assist by Blackhawks prospect Frank Nazar

Saw that, was watching the game, announcers mentioned something maybe Nazar might be helpful to certain someone in Chicago.

Can someone explain why they wasted a  contract year for 3 meaningless games? I’m hoping there’s a strategy behind that.

It’s very common. The thought process is he won’t be a superstar in 2 years, so his next contract will be reasonable, and “buyout” some of his best years.

Crazy that he was playing a college hockey game as recently as Thursday, and 3 days later he's scoring a goal in the NHL

@Old Style I have no idea, but I'm assuming there is a logical reason why.  Feel like I've seen this happen with NCAA prospects towards the end of seasons.  Since Nazar was only a Sophomore (I believe), perhaps this was a deal made to get him to forego the rest of his college eligibility?  But I'm literally just guessing.

Edit: What jersey said makes sense

Thank you for explaining that.

i can't imagine just losing my favorite team like this

The death of the AZ coyotes is similar to the Fletch/Babar doctor scene, only the end was actually very sudden despite being on life support for a decade

Watched some of highlights from their last game of the season, Reichel didn't look broken.  In fact, looked pretty smooth scoring the first goal of game.  Appears there was a slight improvement since he was called back up .2 pts/gm -> .6 pts/gm, don't know if means much for the future or if he'll ever become a good player at least, there was some improvement.

Seems like a good candidate for a low figure extension that’s buys flexibility. But his season may have been bad enough that they don’t even want to risk paying him past 2025

i think i had 60 points for bedard this season. pretty cool that he got there despite a broken jaw and hall's injury

Wish he had a little of a stronger finish.  I think he only had 1 goal in his last 14 games or so, but overall I think he was as advertised and will only get better.  Put up more PPG than Kane did his rookie year and Kane was a year older.
