Hawks have now won 2 straight, 1-0 and 3-1, the lone goal they allowed given up on an unforgivable 3 on 1 break while the Hawks were on a power play and Seth Jones had a combination terrible giveaway and lack of hustle back to recover from it.

That sounds familiar

Hawks had a 5-2 lead with 12 mins left in the game. They lost 7-5.

I know winning this year was never a reasonable ask given the team we put out there but last years team after 33 games had 20 points, this year 21 points.

Man they need to put some real talent around this kid. He is so good

When I've watched Blackhawk games I've seen Bedard put some dimes right on his line mates' sticks only to have the them fumble, bumble it away.  Reichel' been the recipient of some of those dimes and of course, has done nothing, why was he picked at 17 in 2020?

Bedard goes out and gets 2 points by himself last night. It remains pretty clear/concerning that the Hawks need roughly 8-12 actual NHL caliber players to fill out the roster, and you wonder how they're going to do that quickly and effectively now that it's pretty clear that Bedard doesn't need much seasoning.

They need to sign their Hossa either this year or next

Feel like they kinda also need to sign their Keith and Seabrook too.

I have to admit I kind of tuned out the Blackhawks for awhile but I follow their scores. Seems like they’ve been getting blown out a ton lately. It’s fine that they are terrible but I’m wondering if they should be at least a little better this year. I figured with Bedard, advancing some of the prospects and a few moves made in the offseason they’d take a small step and just be regular terrible instead of bottom of the league terrible.

I know the Hall has been injured since early on and Perry did something to get himself booted off the team so maybe that explains why they seem to be worse off

AA's been out the whole season, too. That's three primary veteran forwards they were counting on.

Jones has been out for a while, Murphy has turned to crap most nights, and rookie defensemen play like rookies.

Plus the goalies have predictably not been good enough.

I really want to drive Derwood insane and win the lottery again.

You will win it again, no doubt.

Side note: I'm very annoyed that Arizona is semi-decent this year

When did bedard break his jaw?

Last night in NJ. He had his head down going through the middle.

rest of game was a scrum. Zero talent left on this team.
