My YTTV is broken. For the last 20 minutes it keeps going back to the same comment one of the boring dudes was trying to make about someone then they go to Mike Florio and it freezes. I’ve shut the app and restarted my apple tv a couple times. So weird.

Are there still Bears fans who think we should still just roll with Fields?  If Stroud and Love this weekend doesn’t make it painfully obvious how far away we are at QB, not sure what will.

Their arguments are that an offense that fits fields and additional weapons will make Fields a great QB. You know if every other variable is perfect then he’s good.

The take from that GB game for me was that GB's offensive scheme is just light years ahead of the Bears. They constantly have men wide open way down field. I mean no one within 5 yards wide open and it happens constantly.

1-3 on my predictions so far (Chiefs only win).  This is why I don't gamble.

I would have lost everything long ago.

But I would have won GB/DAL.

I'm in a pick 'em league where we pick every game based on the spread. I finished in 2nd place after being in first place every week since about week 4, and my record was only 19 wins better than my losses for an average ratio of one more win than loss each week of the season. This is why I don't gamble. Hell, I spent a bit more time looking at the games for the final week of the regular season because my lead evaporated to just one game going into the final week. I went 7-9 on my picks. Meanwhile, a friend went 13-3 to pass the field and beat me by two games. It's only a $10 buy in and only 9 of our fantasy team managers play, so you'd be winning $80 bucks (minus the buy in) if you get first place, but that's all I need to know that I'm not winning horsefeathers if I tried to make it more of a passion.

We saw a lot of the same under Rodgers and Getsy though

if you're not picking the Packers in almost every match up (no matter the odds), you haven't internalized what it is to be a Bears fan. (I've made a good amount of money doing this)

49ers are 9.5 point favorites vs GB on Saturday. I think Love is going to come back to earth.

I am sure this post will age well in 5 days.

But Getsy was just the QB coach for GB and didnt call plays.  Even Hackett was just implementing LaFleur's system I'm pretty sure

Hackett wasn't really implementing LaFleur's system. And LaFleur wasn't even really implementing his own system fully. With Rodgers at QB, he did so many checks and audibles at the LOS (for good or bad) that it was really just a hybrid of LaFleur's offense, IMO. YOu could say AR was to Co-OC,  Love, because of his lack of experience (compared to AR), mostly runs what LaFleur calls. And while not overly successful the first half of the season (for a variety of reasons), the offensive play-calling has been pretty amazing the past 10 weeks. LaFleur mentioned in his first season as HC that his offense would "scheme guys open".  Yesterday's scheme was about as "open" as any player could be on a consistent basis.

That's what good QB play is supposed to do. That's why it's the most important position in North American sports by a wide margin.

From the moment the play clock hits 15 seconds, the coaches are cut off and the QB has complete control over what adjustments are made, what checks are or are not called, and once the ball is snapped they decide where it goes.

I don't know what Love's time to throw is compared to other QBs, but the ball seems to come out VERY quickly.  It's going to neutralize the pass rush no matter how good they are.  And then when they had pressure on Love, he flips the ball up to a wide open receiver.  Not kinda wide open, but defenders-barely-on-the-screen open.

But what I was really gobsmacked about was Dak's INTs.  On the 2nd one he was looking right where he threw it.  Guaranteed INT.  That's some wide-eyed rookie stuff.  The 1st one was just a bad throw.  Both were from a clean pocket, no pressure.  For a guy with 36 TDs to 9 INTs on the year, there's no other way to say it:  he crapped the bed.

https://twitter.com/CoachDanCasey/status/1746742495243813242 - Anzalone - this guy is a cheap shot artist, we saw him literally head hunting Fields, don't know how he hasn't been flagged several times.

Strictly regarding the tweet since you didn't mention this part, but it's tough to feel bad for the Rams on a missed holding/PI call when they literally made the Super Bowl due to one of the worst missed PI calls in history.

Wasn't so much about the Rams, it was about Anzalone being cheap shot artist, I'm surprised he doesn't get flagged.

Packers are 9.5 - 10 underdogs vs the Niners how realistic are their chances?  Believe many of us thought the Cowboys would easily prevail last weekend.  I do not think the Niners are going to come at the Packers with a soft zone, I think they'll look to bump their receivers and try to dial up the pressure on Love.  Cowboys have a better QB than the Niners but, the Niners have far more weapons on offense, it's not a simple as taking one away.

Packers wont win the Super Bowl but a run in the playoffs isn't unheard of. That line seems enormous given how well the Packers have played down the stretch and I think I'm gonna put a little money on them to at least cover.

I wouldn't be shocked if they meet the Lions in the NFC Championship game.

Ravens 31 Texans 17

49ers 28 Packers 16

Lions 30 Buccaneers 19

Bills 23 Chiefs 20

Its going to be all chalk this weekend, now lets see how wrong I am.
