There were tickets listed for $0 for the Cards game last night in STL.  The BFIBS are completely apathetic at this point and it's hilarious after all the self flagellation over the years.

White Sox record in each month of 2024 season:

0-3 March

6-21 April (3-game sweep of Rays)

9-19 June (3-game win streak)

3-22 July

4-19 August (so far)

They have to win 9 of their last 24 (.375 winning percentage) to win 40 games. Current winning percentage is .225

Incredible run of awfulness.

I’m legitimately in awe of how bad they are. In a sport like baseball where atrocious teams win on occasion almost on accident it’s hard to believe a team is winning less than 23% of their games.

The 2003 Tigers were also horrifically bad but they showed some heart and won 5 of their last 6 games to avoid setting the modern record for most losses in a season. They turned around and amazingly made a World Series 3 years later. I find it extremely hard to believe the White Sox can do the same.

Knowing Hawk, it just would have been 9 innings of complete silence during each game.

As the announcer said in tonight's game about a comical error made by the Sox, "the White Sox went full White Sox."

Even accidentally, a team couldn’t replicate 31-109. 😂

As was previously mentioned, the WSox need to go 11-11 or better to avoid having the most loses in history by a team in the modern era. To avoid having the worst losing pct of the modern era they must go at least 6-16. Their current .221 winning percentage would tie the 1896 St. Louis Browns for the 4th worst in baseball history. The 3 worse than that are the 1889 Louisville Colonels(.196), 1890 Pittsburgh Alleghenys(.169) and the infamous 1899 Cleveland Spiders(.130).

Interesting question posed on the Score today. Who will have more wins? The 2024 White Sox or the 24-25 Bulls?

that's not really much of a conversation for me, but I'm pretty down on the Bulls next year lol.  I don't think they'll be worst record in the league bad by any means, but I don't think they're a threat to hit the 36ish wins the White Sox will end up at.

To think that this years White Sox are so much crapper than last years A’s.

A’s started 2023 with a 10-45 record (tying two other clubs for the worst first 55 game start in MLB history) and a 21-61 first half record, on track to be worse than the 1962 Mets. Did not even come close to that record in the end.

Today the White Sox are 32-109. On track to finish with the worse record in MLB history, unless they somehow win 9 games from their final 16.
