would be funny if the cat is right and levine is wrong

5 years and haggling over a 6th certainly seems a lot more plausible to me than the cubs thinking they're gonna get yu darvish at only 4 years

That idiot isn't right about anything. He just takes reported info and adds a bit to things. He's played different cards in the same hand for a damn month.

He's an ABTY clone. Hell, maybe he is ABTY.

Why isn't Sean Sears pretending to know anything this year? I miss watching him get dragged in the responses. When Charles gets dragged he's not defensive so it's way less fun.

My favorite thing about Levine currently is his inability to spell Yelich correctly.

that's why i said it'd be funny if the dude who is making stuff up (i think there's maybe like a 5% chance he's legit) is right and levine is wrong

What is Worcestershire sauce anyway

It's fermented fish sauce. And is a vital ingredient for meat loaf, cocktail sauce, sloppy Joes, Bloody Marys, steak marinades...

Basically all the good food has Worcestershire sauce in it.

Yes I know what it is, but I’m asking what IS it

If anything, this long drawn out saga takes me back to the glory days of 2008-2009 with Roberts and Peavy. Only this time something has to give eventually....right?

Are the Twins still doing that thing where they're publicly saying they "really want a sit down" with Yu but screen all his calls and then call back saying they just missed him?

this thread is basically a second General Chit-Chat thread at this point.

petition to change thread title to "what's on Yur mind"

What say Yu?

Andy McCullough said in an article today that Yu has made it clear he wants to return to the Dodgers and has been waiting for them to shed money.

I'm all too ready for some [expletive] organization to bail those fucksticks out.

The actual hiring of Theo was pretty crazy.

damn it. this is the first time in over a month that i've had any real doubt about the cubs getting darvish.

The problem is that "all signs point to team X" can sometimes mean the player is going to team X and sometimes means the player's agent thinks he benefits from appearing to want to go to team X. That thing about "other teams will have to *way* outbid the Cubs" sure felt like one of those.

I'm still pretty sure it's happening.

The Dodgers don't look to be shedding money very fast.

I would think Theo would know this if it were true. Maybe he's given Darvish the best offer and Darvish is waiting to see if the Dodgers can get rid of some guys.
