I wasn't sure either, and a quick IMDb led me to find this move called "they came together". Looking at the cast, I can't believe I've never heard of it and this has to be the greatest movie ever.

I horsefeathering love that movie, but also know folks who absolutely hated it. It's a full on rom-com parody/spoof so if you're not on board with movies like Walk Hard you might not like it.

It's, like, 65% hilarious and 35% terrible, barely better than Scary Movie-reference schlock. It's weird.

 

Fair assessment, but I have a soft spot for legit spoof movies since no one attempts to do them well anymore. They Came Together, Walk Hard, and Black Dynamite are the only spoof movies of the last 15 or so years worth watching, IMO. It's a lost art, so when any of them are remotely good, I have to appreciate it for more than it probably deserves, but that's just me.

Eh, I think the latter two are genuinely great; TCT just has some long stretches of flat out terrible jokes.
