I saw Colorado passed the 100-game loss mark. What a shame. Denver is a great baseball city. They deserve so much better. Outside of Pittsburgh, I can't think of a worse owner in baseball.

The A’s owner might top them both.

I keep forgetting about the A's, yes, I would agree with that.

With 21 games left, the Rockies need 1 more win to tie last years worst ever record. So much for all the talk of the Rockies would lose close to 130 games as it looked like they would be that bad. Just shows you how long the season is and how horsefeathers last years White Sox were.

Yep, can't just be bad. Have to be unlucky too. White Sox second best month by winning percentage was .321. Rockies have had 3 months better than that. Rockies longest losing streak has been 8 games, which they did 5 times. The White Sox had losing streaks of 12, 14 and 21.

The White Sox had a stretch (which included the 12 and 21 game streaks) where they went 4-42. Scrolling through the Rockies game long, I think the most losses they had in a span with only 4 wins was 28. That's abysmal and yet it's still 14 losses away from what the White Sox did.

White Sox pythag was 48-114. Rockies before today had a pythag pace of 45-117.

LOLDodgers.

Could you imagine the meltdown on here if they lost a no-no on the final out, only for the bullpen to then completely blow the game?

The Dodgers are going to parlay this small amount of adversity into the most BS "nobody believed in us" narrative ever aren't they?

I'm mad I turned it off after the no-no went away

Rockies need only 2 wins to in the final 20 to finish with a better record than last years Whitesox. Their -363 run differential is already an MLB record and on pace for-414. That’s the history I’m paying attention to.

Colson Montgomery is playing at a 70 hr pace with an 850 OPS lol

Completely normal that he'd have a near identical HR/FB% as Judge.

The problem i have with the whole Phillies Karen fan controversy is the footage doesn't show what actually happened with the ball.

If the dad picked up the ball clean and legit then yes she's crazy.  But what if he took it out of her hand or something?  Like why was she so upset?  Sore loser or did he do something low?

There's plenty of video out there of what happened.  She was never anywhere near grabbing that ball.  It was in the row in front of her.

Besides that a ball in the stands is fair game. I mean, he didn’t wrestle it away from her. He came over, saw the ball and picked it up. She was 100% wrong with what she did. Just ridiculous.

I don't believe that's quite accurate.   I've only seen the video of the most popular front angle, but it seems it landed in her row near her feet on the ground, between her and the guy standing besides her.   She and the guy beside her reached down, the dad also came over and reached over the seats and picked it up.   We can't see the hands or the ball (from that front angle) but she was probably upset because it was near her feet so she thought it was "hers".

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he seemed like a cool guy and was willing to let her have it because he didn't want any drama.

I have a similar story.  When I was small, around 5 years old, I was standing on the side of the street with my family watching the local Santa Claus Parade.  People on the floats were throwing candy into the crowd.  A full-size Oh Henry bar landed literally right at my feet.   I reached down to get it and some teenager snatched it before I grabbed it.  I was disappointed and that's a bit low to take from a little kid, but I guess it was fair game.  My mom or I didn't yell at him lol.  Much different though than an adult snatching a ball in front of another adult, which is 100% fair game.

I've seen several angles from different reels and she never had possession of the ball.

Theres 3 or 4 videos floating around out there with different angles.

I don't often go on twitter/bluesky these days, but i logged in and the first tweet below was by far the best angle I could find.  We'll call it the Zapruder film lol.  I don't see anyone's hands when they first touch ball in that video so whatevs.

The reply from "Rugga" in the 2nd tweet below she says to the dad "that was in my hands", but she could be lying.  Even if she did have hands on it first she should have given it to the kid anyways.
