I liked Decker with Tebow throwing the football. He's going to be a stud receiver with Manning throwing to him.

Simmons on podcast about Tebow, "I can think of 8 teams off the top of my head that are irrelevant and would become relevant the moment they threw Tim Tebow out there. If you aren't going to win the Super Bowl I can't imagine why that's not the play."

 

I don't think I can think of 8 irrelevant NFL teams. Miami and Jacksonville can be considered that. Washington is arguably. Minnesota? Tampa? STL? Cleveland?

 

There aren't many teams that should be considering a trade.

 

WAS could be interesting considering they are set to sign RGIII. On one hand, you want to hand the keys to your new kid, but a Tebow RGIII tandem with a relatively low cap figure between the two makes sense. But Miami and Jacksonville are really the only 2 obvious ones.

Tampa, Jacksonville and Miami should all stupidly bid against each other.

 

Miami has lost out on every guy they've sought at QB this offseason, so I predict they WAY overpay to get Tebow.

 

Tebow makes absolutely 0% sense for Miami. I wish I could say that meant they wouldn't try to get him, but I don't trust Jeff Ireland to remember to change his underwear, much less make smart personnel decisions.

 

Death to Tebowmania. I can see the Dolphins giving up too much in a trade. They're terribly desperate for a QB.

It wouldn't shock me to see Miami draft Ryan Tannehill if he's available since Mike Sherman is now the OC there. I'd imagine he's high on RT, though I don't see him becoming a starting QB in the NFL. Especially not as a rookie.

 

I don't understand this. Is there any particular reason? I view Tannehill as being pretty similar to Locker, only 2 inches taller and minus the two extra years of being starting and passing with crappy accuracy that Locker had.

Hopefully not speaking too soon when I call that a steal for the Jets. He's one of the better safeties in the league and was easily the best S to hit FA this year. If he was healthy he'd be one of the biggest names on the market, so this is a move I could see paying off big time.

Mortensen reports that the Broncos will put Tebow on the block immediately that they complete the signing of Manning and will not hold out for a significant offer. Mortensen also reports that the Broncos will cut Tebow if they fail to find a trade partner
