You people still fall into the delusion that Florida is signifcantly better then Alabama, when it reality Florida is no better then Alabama regardless of what BSPN says. What people don't realize that when Florida got punch in the mouth agains Ole Miss, they LOST. Regardless of how they lost, they lost. They should have won comfortable considering they play at home, but they didn't. In other words, Florida doesn't play well when faced with a physical team.

 

Through in the fact that Tebow has not led a 4th quarter comeback as a starter (and trust me, Florida will not approach their scoring average against Bama), so we don't know how they will react when facing adversity.

 

Keep overrating Florida and underrating Alabama. Please do. Alabama plays better when people don't give them the proper respect. WHEN Alabama beats Florida, you guys will see why Alabama is the best team in football. Florida is nothing more then a hollywood offense, and Alabama's defense is BUILT TO STOP this kind of flashy offense. (Look at Alabama against Florida last yr,even tho Flo won last yr it was JP was easily rattled, and Texas Tech a couple of yrs ago) Florida uses superior athlethicism and team speed to their advantages, and through the yr it worked. They are not superior to Alabama, and Alabama's physicality will overwhelm Florida, and Alabama wins the game comfortable. Why? Because Saban is the superior coach and his team rises to the challenge.

 

Tim Tebow will be confused. Harvin will be of no consequence, and Demps and Rainey will crumble when their speed will be match by Alabama team defense speed. And when it is said and done...Alabama will win 35-17.

 

Write it down, take it to the bank cause it will happen. And when it does, I will laugh all the way to the National Championship. And the scary thing is......Alabama isn't even playing to their full potential.......

 

Everybody will see why I am a defender of Alabama after Saturday. Alabama is the best, and Florida will be just another victim.

 

So I beg all of you haters, I really do.....keep doubting Alabama, please do. It only fuels the fire of Saban and the Tide. Again, please doubt Bama, cause when Alabama beat Florida, gloating will be such sweeter then any victory since 1992. Oh wait, Florida was favored in that game too, and look what happen.....Oh no..........Florida DID NOT want Alabama, I promise you. They rather have faced LSU, because they know Saban will outcoach Meyer and Crimson Tide will outplay the pretty boys who are afraid to get dirty.

Best of luck to OU next week. Should you lose it won't hurt my feelings at all :-). Its hard to argue against everything knowing how good that offense is, but sucks knowing Texas won head to head and lost on the final play of the game. Oh well, next year's team was supposed to be the title run team. I did want to see the Texas run defense against the Gators though.

 

im kind of disgusted with myself for feeling this way, but i really feel bad for colt mccoy. he's such a tough little bastard...if anyone deserves to play for a title, it's him. especially after all the crap he took last year.

 

if mack brown put ou in his top 25, he screwed himself. the coaches poll came down to ONE POINT.

I will be here. I won't chicken away, but I will be here gloating about a Alabama victory. The better team will win and Florida is not the better team. Nick Saban will have his boys prepared and ready to go, and Alabama will methodically wear down Florida, and physical hurt the "pretty boys."

 

Let's put it this way....if Florida isn't up 14-21 points after the first quarter, they will not win. People fall in love with Urban Meyer and the gimmick offense, but you tell you a secret, Nick Saban's "defense" (and ask vance, people cause he would know, also) eats gimmick offenses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

 

Learn the names of Rolando McClain and Don'ta Hightower, cause there is NOT a better LB duol in college football. You heard.

The only reason why I get defensive about Alabama, is because everybody assumes Florida is just wasting their time playing the SECCG. I just want people to realize that Alabama is a helluva team, and they were more than luck, they were also outstanding to get to 12-0. As soon as people give Bama the proper respect I will pull back on my fanaticism. Until them you won't convince me Florida is better then Bama.

 

The only team in college football I am hesitant to face is USC. THE only team is USC. Alabama has always played Florida will good, or simply kicked their butts. Florida's "offense" is not going to be "explosive" come Saturday, and that every score---if they score mulitple times---will be earned. If you don't believe me, guys, go back and watch Alabama games all yr. Very few times did teams get an "easy score."

 

I'm make a promise on this site and I will honor it......If Alabama loses I will come on this board and I will admit both SEC and to a lesser degree Alabama have been overrated by yours truly. Seeing as Alabama won't lose, I don' thave anything to worry about.

USC is an explosive offense built on speed. What happened when they faced a physical team like Oregon St.? They lost. Alabama will wear down USC with their size and physicality. Bama will prove that they are legit.

oh believe me, the rest of the country already figured that out after they canned mike shula. the list of potential coaches that alabama people were throwing out there wasn't a list of good up-and-coming college coaches, it was pretty much a list of every great football coach at any level. i'm surprised that they didn't suggest exhuming the corpses of vince lombardi and bear bryant to coach the team.

FWIW: Florida's great rushing attack starts with Tebow. Demps, Rainey and company average gobs of yards because of the stretch option Florida loves. Lately though, Demps and Rainey have actually gained a majority of their yards in between the tackles. Still Texas' run defense isn't built for left and right movement as much as downhill movement. It's similar to Alabama's in that way. With Mt Cody, though, Alabama's is almost only built for the interior rushing game. Look for the Gators to have a lot of success with the perimeter rushing game next week. Also look, however, for Alabama to force two interceptions and pressure Tim Tebow all night long keeping the offense relatively mortal.

 

I am going to make a (not so) bold prediction. Tim Tebow will have as many interceptions next weekend as he did during the entire regular season.
