I have now decided that I will be cheering for Oklahoma State this weekend as Texas Tech will not have the ability to jump in front of Texas even though that would put them in the Big XII Championship Game and Texas could then play for the NC vs. Florida/Alabama.

have I mentioned how much I hate the fact that the Big Ten is done by Thanksgiving while the Pac-10 has like 7 more games?

I think they are changing that. I absolutely agree with this post though.

Western Michigan is right there with Central and we were lucky to escape Kalamazoo with a win last year. A loss would still send CMU to the MAC title game on the fourth tiebreaker - league schedule strength. Tim Hiller has been ripping up defenses. We'll need one more stout game.

Notre Dame - I don't care. Just go get blown out. I'll probably watch, but I don't care.

Big 10 teams have 12 game schedules with one bye week. USC has three bye weeks

Don't think they'll get the Cotton?

I'm still holding hope that the Holiday takes Mizzou. I talked to one of their committee people at one of our home games and he sad they really like us, but we'll see what happens.

the computers are so stupid. texas tech is ahead of oklahoma in two of the computers. this is what happens when you ignore margin of victory. i wonder what will happen if florida beat alabama and stays behind texas and oklahoma. they've got quite a bit of room to make up in the computers. granted they play #21 and #1.5 in the computers, but they are currently 6th. If they win, they gain some ground on Texas I guess, but really there's very little room to improve against OU and Texas in the computers. Right now Texas and OU have another top 15 opponent left on their schedule.

There's a very real chance that Florida could beat #1 Alabama and not get in the BCS Champ game despite being #1 in the AP and Harris polls.

That would be ridiculous. Florida is, at least in my opinion, pretty clearly the best team in the country.

I think they said one of the computers had Utah as the number 2 team.
