It has a lot to do with us bringing back, I believe, 23 players which is either the most in the SEC or in the nation. We've also had a pair of great recruiting classes and finally showed improvement for the first time since Fulmer was at the helm. There's a bunch of really exciting, young talent on this team and a coach considered an up and comer (I'm not as high on his coaching ability, but the man can recruit). That said, it is still a young team that has a few holes left and a few more questions, so you don't want to get too excited. That being said, I put the baseline expectation at 8-4 and think that's completely realistic with the potential for a major breakout next year. Barely in the top 25 or barely out is perfectly reasonable to me.
