I noticed. Looks like he's taking the bite off in order to throw strikes.

I think he was told to stop throwing so hard and take a little off his pitches to maintain his command. That's just my guess.

After thinking a lot about this, I've come to agree. Beasley measuring in shorter than his listed height and his character concerns make me leery enough to think Rose would be the better choice.

Take Rose and send Hinrich wherever for a big man who can score a little in the post. Doesn't have to be anybody great, just a little post presence.

He gave up a hit, then got a DP ball that Mike booted, then Ked a guy. He's pitched well through the first three batters.
