This is just nitpicking, but it's Jimmy BASEBALL, not Jimmy Ballgame. It was Teddy Ballgame and the nickname should not be soiled by Edmonds, although I hate him much less than I used to.

 

just nitpicking, but could you possibly use a placenta as your avatar going forward. thanks...

 

Um, that's my daughter. She'll be 3 weeks old tomorrow. Thanks for the advice though.

I think Mike Greenberg is.

 

Edit: Maybe not. He was born in NY. He might have a soft spot for them though because I listen occasionally and he seems excited to talk about the Cubs.

Greenie used to cover sports in chicago, but I don't know if he's a cub fan. Golic definitely not.

 

When they agreed to do the 7th inning stretch, they spent about a half hour on the air acting like they'd just won the power ball.

It would appear that he thinks everything on the site must be baseball related ot it's out of line. Which, if you pay attention, is clearly the case.

 

I believe I'm also the 1st person to ever have their kid in their avatar. (Or maybe not if you check the game thread starter from the 4 before today)

Actually I was more commenting on how amazing it is that Marmol is in the middle of a "super slump" by his standards, and yet hes on a 7 appearence hitless streak.

that was a pretty good performance of the stretch....I was impressed Golic did that good. Was funny watching there show this morning they were basically running out of the studio to catch the plane.

No. Greeny is a Yanks fan (he grew up in the city) and Golic is an Indians fan as he grew up in/near Cleveland.
