This is just nitpicking, but it's Jimmy BASEBALL, not Jimmy Ballgame. It was Teddy Ballgame and the nickname should not be soiled by Edmonds, although I hate him much less than I used to.

it was the Oriole pitcher's younger brother who was the pitcher in the popular video of the Arkansas player faking getting hit by a pitch that was 2 feet away from him, and then getting ejected by the umpire:

Not so much. The last 3 days have been terrible. She wakes up, screams and then eats. She then takes 2 hours to go back to sleep, then wakes up an hour later. Rinse, lather, repeat. I have been living on coffee because she's been so loud all night.

If you count spring training, there are 5 players in the lineups that have played 2B for the Cubs. And that doesn't include Cedeno on the bench, and Brian Roberts who I was guaranteed would be the the Cubs 2B.

It's weird seeing Marmol warming in the pen and feel uneasy about it.

 

Marmol hasn't given up a HIT in his last 7 appearences. As long as he doesn't pull a Tampa, he'll be fine.
