Hey, Bradley made the CBI tournament!

WTH is the CBI? Oh, just some random tourney made up entirely to make money and has no real value.

Tennessee was 16-4 v. the RPI top 100, Kansas was 15-3. Maybe Tennessee should've beaten a team that was a double digit seed(before that win bumped them up to their current 9 seed) on a neutral court.

Tennessee and Kansas had identical records (KU with one less loss) and Tennessee played a significantly tougher schedule.

I'm sorry we lost as many games as Kansas when we were playing better teams. Maybe everybody should schedule toward the lower end of the RPI top 100 if that's what the committee rewards.

Meh, I wouldn't complain if we were a two and you were a one, but you got to coast through the SEC. And you lost in your tourney. And we really are a better team. But as far as resumes go, yours is better.

Based off how they beat the number one team in america on said teams court and you guys didn't play anyone near that good at all? Or based on how every good team you played, you either squeaked by or lost to? You might be better, but I don't think you can just state that as fact because you feel like it.

Texas is every bit as good as Memphis, and KU went 1-1 against them without facing them at home, while Texas took Tennessee behind the woodshed.

Again I don't know how you can say that. Until Texas plays Memphis we can't say that with any certainty. Texas is a flawed team, I love their guards, but any team with any post players should handle them. Memphis played the toughest non-conference schedule in basketball and only lost one game. I think it is hard to say that one of them is better than other, but if forced to I would go with Memphis.

Sure I can. And I think Texas is just as good Tennessee and perhaps as good as Memphis. Even for teams with a strong inside presence (KU, UCLA), they've been formidable.

I'm biased. Of course, you are too. You probably hate KU more than I like them.

Besides, we deserve a bit of payback for being the #1 seed last year and having to play the 2 in the 2's backyard. (UCLA in anaheim.)

San Jose.

I actually kinda like KU's team this year. Mario Chalmers is the best guard in the country that no one ever talks about. I hate their fans though.

Sampson is joining Skiles' staff in Milwaukee.

And in Indiana news:

AP[/url]"]BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana coach Tom Crean will not reinstate Armon Bassett and Jamarcus Ellis, who were ordered off the team in March.

............

Crean also said on Friday that DeAndre Thomas will not return to the team.

On Thursday, freshman Eli Holman told coaches he intended to transfer before apparently throwing a tantrum in their office that required a call to the campus police. Crean says Holman will not return.

Homan is gone from IU and I've also heard that DeAndre "The Giant" Thomas is gone as well. I think that drops them to 3 scholarship players with one of them being a former walk on.

Good for Crean. I gain some respect for him.

It's gonna be quiet around here next season.

Why did the Illini lose players too? You guys were doing all the talking last year.

I think that was what he was implying. Illini fans gain respect for Crean, less whining about IU or their coach.
