And kudos for Pruitt - good kid, had to turn pro because his grades forced him to drop out. My favorite memory of Pruitt at USC will be Pruitt's cell phone number being chanted at a game in Berkeley with the whole Victoria thing.

Nice to see the quarter of Farmar-Young and Afflalo-Pruitt all in the NBA.

Is the 2nd round today also?

Yes, we're a few picks in already.

I didn't think I could be more disappointed than I was with Tyrus Thomas over Aldridge. But here we are.

Noah sucks.

Who would you have selected at #9 if you were Pax?

"Noah Sucks" is about the most useless (and inaccurate) critique you can make. Maybe you don't like him, but clearly a two-time National Champ doesn't suck

That's poor logic, just because he got 2 banners doesn't validate a pick...otherwise Green and Humphrey would be lotto picks. (Keep in mind I like the pick...and I HATE Noah.)

Reminds me of Jerry Krause trying to pump up Will Perdue's trade value by telling people he had three rings. To which the crafty old GM replied, "So does their trainer."

Great value pick for Portland. His vision and passing will work well with some of the other young guys on that team.

ok, being a NC doesn't equal greatness. of course not. But he wasn't the 12th man on those teams either. He was a 2nd team All-American, 1st team All-SEC, Final Four MVP, etc.

At the end of the day, all he is (so far) is a good college player. His NBA career has yet to be written.

May I remind everyone how much people (at NSBB) HATED the Tyrus Thomas pick and HATED the Luol Deng pick.

Richardson for Wright happened.

And the Blazers take Byars, kudos to them.

Whoops, looks like he's a 76er now.

New Orleans wastes their 2nd rounder on Adam Haluska.

Noah was a good pick for the Bulls relative to who was there. I am by no means a Noah fan and he would've been a terrible pick much higher, but I likely would've taken him if I was the Bulls. They desperately need interior scoring, but they also really need size. I also think Noah fits the Skiles-Bulls paradigm.

Julian Wright and Nick Young could be big steals, I think both were top-10 players in the draft.

The Knicks-Blazers trade was ridiculous. I'm not a huge Randolph fan, but Portland got nothing in return. Francis is crap (though if he's cut and they get cap space that certainly has value). Frye is a creampuff who regressed last season and will be a bench player in Portland behind Oden and Aldridge. I am unsure how well Randolph and Curry will coexist, but I definitely make the trade if I'm in the Knicks.

EDIT: This is from awhile ago, but Oden and Conley played HS ball at LAWRENCE North not LawrenceVILLE North. Also, Stu Scott also called Acie Law "Acie Earl." Moron.

Where's that ignore switch at again? I think that will go in effect for one month.

Come on, Adam can be a servicable NBA role player. Not tons of upside, but he can stick around for a while with the right fit. He's much more athletic than he gets credit for (whiteness will do that), has a good pull-up game with a streaky outside shot and plays solid defense. He also knows how to flop and get himself to the line where he's deadly.

He's off the charts for any teams looking at character/intangiables and will play any role asked of him, which is important when you're talking about a guy on the end of the bench. He's a max effort guy but can play under control and if there's anything left to develop, he'll get it out.

There were alot better players available the Adam Haluska.

Also, I thought Crittenton was a curious pick for the Lakers. They just used a first round pick on a PG last season (Farmar) and Crittenton is a developmental prospect. Makes me wonder if they're thinking trade...Pacers need a PG...

You can get Haluska's skillset without using a draft pick on him. White guys who can shoot a little but aren't fast enough to penetrate against or defend NBA guards are not rare.
