Not too happy about the upcoming Noah selection, but oh well, the Bulls will end up getting 2 of the Top 3 players eligible for the 2006 draft.

I'll take it.

When did we trade for Brandon Roy or Lamarcus Aldridge?

Noah would have gone Top 3 last year if he declared, guaranteed.

Yeah...but that doesn't make him a top 3 player.

Semantics.

You mean Top 3 in terms of how they turned out.

I mean Top 3 in terms of where they'd have been picked.

Fair?

BPA, can't complain at all. And I hate the guy. Hopefully one of Noah or TT turns into a stud big man.

So who did you guys want instead?

So who did you guys want instead?

I dont know, but I really dont want to have to see him and his freaking act for 81 games a year. I hate the fact that his offense is lacking greatly also.

Honestly, given the options, Noah was the best choice.

Where will he play? You can't have two non-scoring big men on the court. Wallace will be at the five and Thomas is going to bust out at the four. At least Hawes could be an offensive threat for years to come.

I think he's a better offensive player than what he has shown thus far because of playing on such a strong team with other studs like Brewer and Horford.

And believe me, I'm a UCLA alum. I can't stand what he did and said at the championship game two years ago and I hate the guy. But he's the best player available and a great pick.

Yeah. Hawes probably would have been a better pick. By the time Big Ben's contract will be ending, Hawes will be in the prime of his career. That would have been nice to have. TT, Noah, and Wallace are all similar players. Good defense, high energy, good rebounding big men. Playing 2 of them on the court at the same time really limits are offense.

Good for Hawes...hopefully Nick Young goes in the lottery too for two Pac-10ers.

I dunno, I just think a top 10 pick should be more of a "star" player potential. I dont think Noah will be anywhere near a star in the NBA.
