This is a same organization that has stoood behind:

 

1: LaRussa accusing the Cubs (and for that matter the Red Sox) of stealing signs.

 

2: Matt Morris---back in 2003---would rather "lay down" against the Astros, instead of watching the Cubs win the division.

 

3: Steve Kline making that statement that he "wished" Mark Prior would take a line drive off the forehead, and never pitched again.

 

So I wouldn't take what Edmonds said seriously.

 

Besides, I think we learned something tonight, APPARENTLY Edmonds needs hot water to help keep his makeup on, or he is a grinch in the morning.
